American Home Shield is a scam and then they use a subpar hvac company! First off, they proceeded to walk in my house with no shoe covers!!! The first $100 service call was diagnosed as a refrigerant fill. It worked 3 days and was back blowing hot air. Of course, now you have to call the warranty company in order for them to come back for the real issue and pay another $100 fee. Extremely disappointing experience. The technician arrived nearly two hours late and rushed through the visit. Our AC unit had been recharged with refrigerant only two months ago, and it is already freezing again—an obvious reason to investigate a possible leak. However, no diagnostic or leak test was performed. When I asked for proper testing, the technician raised his voice at me over the phone and admitted: “I won’t bullshit you, I didn’t run any tests at all. Their customer complaints are legitimate!! Our pioneer mini split unit in our master bedroom started blowing hot air and displaying an error code. I requested service through our home warranty with American Home Shield. They assigned this company, and I paid my $100 deductible. They called the same day, informing me that a technician would notify us the day before his arrival. The night before, at 7:48 pm, Mike, a technician from A US Air, texted me. They did ultimately fix my ac but it took multiple calls and 3 trips to my house. I eventually was able to get ahold of someone higher up who helped but when I first called they said I couldn’t talk to anyone else bc there supervisor was just going to tell me what they were saying which was that WED was the earliest they could come back out making it a full week since they had already came out and “fixed it” eventually they were able to come the next morning after I spoke to someone else.

Absolutely awful. Don't go. They will try to upsell you, they don't fix anything. They take forever and their service is awful. STAY AWAY. It was so awful, I’m adding to this review. They commented to let them know what they could do. But I’ve been waiting for two weeks for a manager to call me and no one has. That’s what you could do to start.
