I came to American Tax Service in February 2024 with an IRS tax lien of $118,000.00. They worked on a resolution and successfully reduced it to just $15,000.00 — a huge relief for me and my family. This company gets no stars they were terrible. Nothing was done to solve my issue. They don’t answer the phone they give you the same excuse someone will call you back. No one ever does. I have spoke with Steve, Deborah, and Ellie. Please be aware DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Every negative review is true. Anyone with a positive review is a lie. I will be pushing the issue.
I'm in my 70s well into my retirement years and these tax issues have been hanging over my head for a decade. I had heard about these programs but was not sure if they worked. Jay Gibson reassured me. He is very kind and knowledgeable and he was able to get me into a non-collectable status. These guys know what they're doing and my mind was put at ease when they got this monkey of my back.
I contacted these people to help me with back taxes and just like they say in the reviews they wanted me to pay $1200 right away or they said they probably wouldn’t be able to help me for various different reasons. Tax scam company beware. They targeted my mother-in-law, and for the life of me, I can't figure out how she rationalized sending this company $70k without asking for a single shred of proof that her case was progressing. I reached out on her behalf, and they even told me that a case manager had a meeting with an IRS agent 'just yesterday.'
