This company is definitely a scam! Since day one I’ve been transferred from one case worker to another case worker with no communication! When I finally got a hold of someone all they told me were a bunch of empty promises of what they would do for me and how they will help me. I asked for a refund of $1,500 (which I doubt they will refund me that amount that I paid) and I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau and also the Federal Trade Commission for unethical practices towards consumers. Earlier this year, we contacted American tax services to get our taxes squared away. I was encouraged to pay the fee quickly so we can get started. As soon as I paid $1500 for assistance with our taxes, I received an email to sign power of attorney over to this company. I was not given any instructions as to why, so we were apprehensive to sign power of attorney to strangers. No communication after payment! Called several times with same answer your tax case workers on the phone and will call you back. I have yet to hear from her and they got payment almost 3 to 4 months ago. Should have been a simple amended tax return. Awful customer service. The only thing I can tell is they took power of attorney 2 months ago!
Scam alert. Theft of service and unauthorized charges to my debit card. Manager mocked me and joked about the money that was taken illegally from my account with no effort in resolution. This company should be shut down and the people responsible held accountable for there actions, or lack of. What a waste.
