We had to put down our elderly dog last week. The staff at Critter Fixer were kind and compassionate through the whole process from scheduling all the way through to the end. They didn't rush anything and gave us plenty of time with our dog to say goodbye. They even signed a sympathy card for us.
There was not much more a person could expect from this place. We had an appointment and were on time, as was the veterinarian. She was very pleasant and extremely kind. The young lady who greeted us in the examination room was also very pleasant, eager, and knowledgeable. I would never stick my hand in a strange dog's mouth to make them swallow a pill. I've only had a few experiences here, but each time has been great. I've had to come here when my local vet doesn't have any openings soon enough for me when my cats have had health concerns. Even with the thirty-ish minute drive from where I live, the visit is worth it. The staff has always been welcoming and made me feel at ease. There is a large enough wait room, individual exam rooms, and then a private back area where the staff takes your pet to weigh and check before bringing them back into the exam room with you. Our girl was limping and the attention and quality of care given at Critter Fixer Vet Hospital was the best. She was back to running and our daily walks in no time. We take all our dogs here and always the best quality care and service given.
Critter Fixer is great! They are very compassionate, kind and accommodating. I have been taking my pets here for years. Doctor Hodges, has always been straight with me. He doesn't over charge and he doesn't beat around the bush. If you ask him he will honestly tell you. My 🐈 Fluffy was nine and developed fourth stage bone cancer. Doctor Hodges, did all he could, but she did not have to suffer. Thank God.. After he put her to sleep, he prepared her for burial.
