Avoid This Place – Nothing Works! I’ve lived at Vista Monterrey long enough to see things go downhill fast. The gate has been broken since 2023, making security a joke. The management office is a revolving door, so don’t expect consistent help or accountability. The gym is a disaster—only three outdated treadmills work, the TV inside is broken, and nothing ever gets updated. I don't even recommend it with one star. It's worse than this. everything everything about this place is bad, wrong, it's a lie. Don't be fooled by the way the place looks from the outside. I could write everything that is wrong and lies about this place but it will be deleted. I've lived here long enough and I'm ready to leave this place as soon as my contract is up.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER Management doesn’t care about you. Maintenance is trash. PARKING IS THE WORST… there’s a lot of cars that doesn’t even live here plus if you don’t find a good spot near to your apartment you have to park too far away from your apartment and walk, sometimes you have to walk by yourself at night with no lights. There have been car thefts and a lot of broken car windows. The only good thing about these apartments is the location, that’s it.
I had given these apartments a 5 star rating about 2 years ago, but now, it has gone in the opposite direction. It seems like there is a high renter turnover, and they are not vetting them properly, and the facilities lack adequate lighting in the parking lot. It is very dark and you can not see the apartment numbers. The swimming pool area seems abandoned, and the "dog park" needs maintenance with the fence. I'm being generous rating this place a one star. I did not want to write anything bad about this place, but it has to be said and pointed out. If you are considering moving into this apartment complex, consider the following... firstly, the staff are not pet friendly. They say they are, but they aren't. They have a problem with my dog for who knows what reason. Secondly, the staff are not kind or sympathetic to their tenants.
