The shower is a 3 x 5 acrylic shower with 3 grab bars and a shower seat. I decided to see what a median price for such an installation might be. Heres what I found on ******: The median price for a 3x5 foot (or 36x60 inch) acrylic shower stall, including professional installation, is typically between $3,000 and $5,000, with some sources suggesting a full project median closer to $3,000. The total cost varies significantly depending on the materials chosen and local labor rates. They (West Shore Home) made a fool of me. Cavea... read more
Day of install 7/3/25, when the employee showed me the shower head - I told him that was not the correct shower head and was told that there no other heads in his truck. I then reached out to the salesman via text and was told he would enter a service ticket. I texted 7/8/25 - sent text with pics of the front flower beds and driveway full of sand dust. He responded stated he would include it with the service request.7/28/25 - texted again to follow up on shower head. No response.8/8/25 - TC to customer service - reported iss... read more
They don't pay thier Vendors and won't take your calls. The worst company to do business with.
Really disappointed with the service I received. I hired them to replace my old bath tub with a walk-in shower. The installation team were there until 8:30 at night, didn't install the doors correctly, installed a shower head that barely works, left a mess in my home and all sorts of junk outside my home, including screws and sharp pieces of broken ceramic tile. When I called their customer service line they told me the next available appointment was over a month away. So basically I paid for a shower that I can't use. I hav... read more
I had all new windows installed on my home in February 2025. I was told that the windows will withstand 185 mph winds. When I had a wind mitigation performed in August of 2025 to submit to my homeowners insurance I was told that the windows are not hurricane proof windows. And therefore I cannot receive a discount on my insurance. I am extremely dissatisfied.
In May 2024 we had a complete bathroom remodel in which we paid over $30,000. The overall installation went well but in less than 1 year we notice that the shower pan/floor was extremely slippery. We called West Shore in **********, ** who installed the bathroom. They sent a tech out to apply a nonslip coating on the shower pan/floor. Within a few months the coating starting coming up. I called and they told us that we need to pay over $100 to have it fixed because it was outside the 1 year warranty. I then questioned the ty... read more
2 years ago West Shore Bath redid my shower install. I thought everything was going ok, the 2 young men seemed to be in a hurry. Ended up connecting to the pipes wrong. An older man came out next day to change it around and it was fine. this is the second year and my shower looks like it is 10 years old. The chalking they put in has turned yellow and brown in the corners. I spent enough money on this install for excellent service which after calling west shore they told me I would have to pay for them to come out and fix it.... read more
On April 4, 2024, I was scheduled to have a tub removed, 9 new windows installed, and a new sliding glass door. Westshore employees arrived around 9:30am to start the work, which was completed that day. Upon using the shower 24 hrs later, there was a large air bubble on the bottom of the stall, I reported this along with the caulking used to seal windows that dried and cracked out, did not hold up. I was told they would need to complete a redo, the manufacturer of the stalls was having issue with faulty materials. On January... read more
I would not recommend West Shore Homes for a bathroom remodel, unless you have a "pre-construction meeting" with the salesperson and the install team. We had a bathroom remodel, removing a jacuzzi/whirlpool tub, installing a new tub, and new flooring. the cost was nearly $20K. It was supposed to be a "2-day-job". On the first day of the demo work, the installers said, "the salesman ***** promises things we don't do". I thought to myself, great, here we go, this is not going to go well, and that's exactly what happen! We were... read more
