Original bid $15,000+, salesman came back and assured me I was getting the shower I originally ordered for almost $11,000. I specifically wanted non slip pan, hand held shower head, a bench and a flat finish. I got none of these things. When I asked they referred me to ****** as it was so much cheaper. Predator of the elderly. Visited my elderly owners. Gave a quote for bathroom remodel. The quote was outrageous and actually was more the original price of their home. We found out about their visit and called and canceled the service. They told my folks that they had 3 days to cancel. We canceled within this time frame. However, they sent my parents a legal letter stating the owe @ ******** for a restocking fee. My parents are 85 years old on social security. They are definitely predators!!!
I was quoted $36k for a 40 sq ft bathroom job. The special offer price knocked it down to $26k, which is still $650/sq ft and were not talking gold plated fixtures. After declining I was contacted by ***** Kepnar with an offer for $16k. I asked if this was for the entire remodel job and ***** confirmed it was. Guaranteed a one day service. Signed contract on January *******, it is now March 27, 2025. The bath to shower install has not been completed. Had to redo the whole shower due to the installation wasnt done correctly. The water would not drain out. Damage to tile floor is finally being fixed supposedly tomorrow. Friday *******. Do not hire this company! I received a quote for a shower install on February 24, 2025 and signed a contract with a $5761.00 deposit. On February 26, 2025 I cancelled the contract (within the 3 day cancellation period). Per the contract West Shore Home states that deposit refunds will be given within 10 days of cancellation. I hand delivered the cancellation notice to the West Shore Home office in Chattanooga, TN on 2-26-2025 and received a cancellation confirmation email that same day. very poor communication. did not hold up to their advertisement ....... as advertised on TV.........* no interest or payments for 1 year *Fee installation Was never given any paper work with figures of cost. *** kept telling me I would get everything in the mail. Don't use West Shore Home for your remodel needs. West Shore Home salesman originally gave me a quote of approx. $15,000 to replace my shower. I said no that was too high. About a month later another salesman came out to "make me a better deal". He got the price down to right at $11,000 and said it was exactly what the previous salesman had shown me. I found West Shore difficult to work with during the remodel of our bathroom. They had crew(s) working until late in the evenings (9:30pm) to save coming out an additional day. This was extremely hard for my 88 year old moms health. Heat vents were closed up and not vented correctly under two vanity cabinets. This caused additional cost to me to hire **** company to correct.
