My wife and I, after buying our new home, consulted with west shore home to build our shower. We were sold on a seamless acrylic shower built by professionals in a two day appointment. The installers came on 9/11 to start the job. Because they ran out of supplies they pieced together 2 pieces of wall with an ugly seam down the middle. ***** ****** from Westshore Homes came to my home in April 2024. I had a corroded subfloor caused by black mold in my hallway bathroom, that had a big hole. I'd been advised not to use my bathroom to be safe. Which is the reason I called Westshore to come out to advise if it could be replaced and shower/ tub installed. ***** inspected my crawlspace, saw the damage, and assured me Westshore would be able to replace the subfloor remove the mold & install the shower/tub. I paid $32,000 dollars for a bathroom remodel and I never had a business treated me and my wife with such disrespect. They installed the bathroom on July 14th and it took until Oct.24th for them to fix all the damage they caused to the vanity. Signed contract in June 2024 to have two custom windows replaced. Successfully installed one window and second window install has been delayed 3 times. Informed today (10/24) next attempt will not be until sometime in December 2024. Have contacted a number of folks at this company including salesman numurous times in regards to expediting or for some consideration towards a discount and told everytime they would inform uppper management and have someone reach out to me directly. On July 13, 2024 West Shore Home (out of *************) came and installed a new shower in my home. You had to wait 24 hours for all the areas glued to dry. Much of what Ms. Gray says doesn't make sense from a plumbing perspective but she can rest assured that we are taking this seriously and do everything needed to address all issues. Our General Manager and Master Plumber are personally visiting her to investigate and find a solution.
Salesperson failed several times after requesting for quotes to produce one. Made several calls and text.
Disgusted, disappointed, dismayed with my stupidity and naivet for getting involved with the original 2 day upsale and ensuing 8 months of communication and involvement with this *** This, to correct the results of an initial design flaw (84" shower panel for a single woman??- i unknowingly signed off on) and the ensuing mess to unravel. On behalf of my parents who live in a 55+ community. My parents are 86 years old called West Shore for a quote. ****** came out took pics and down with my mom. My mom stayed from the beginning just looking for quotes. She is starting surgery on her legs which she will be tied up for 2 months After being quoted 14 grand to change a tub into a stall shower. Had a $3,000 Front Door installed on 27 September 2024: less than a week later the hardware failed (Door knob) coming apart upon normal use. Called West Shore Homes to report the situation on 30 September. Originally told it would **** * more days to secure my home. Service Technicians show up on 3 Sep to fix. The very next day I have a Door k*** worth $25 that doesn't work. Called *************** and was told "When we get a replacement k*** in..we will call You to schedule a service to replace". We have done that and requested the door k*** be expedited in shipping. Installing any other door k*** than the one from the manufacturer would void his warranty.
