AVOID THIS COMPANY-West Shore Home Raleigh Sales pitch was great and I signed a contract. However, decided against having the work done at this timeplanning it to be a next year project. Canceled within the 72 hour ***** period and was told the refund of my deposit (close to $4000.00) would be made in 7-10 business days. Its been over 20 days now and still no refund. I have no idea what kind of job they would have done since I balked at their up-front process.I submitted my information online, mentioning that we seemed to have a leaking shower. I was called no more than 10 minutes later! Wow, that is very efficient. I was impressed.The gentleman who came exactly on time was very professional and told me immediately that he was a design consultant rather than a sales man. Not even gonna give a star for the customer service of *********************** my bathroom yes love it. I would give a five star writing but the customer service that I have got is awful. I signed up for a 46 month same as cash to put my shower in, this was on a Friday on Monday. I woke up and checked my bank account and I was $10,000 overdrawn. West Shore Home in *************, **, appears to have taken advantage of my 85-year-old mother. They charged her over $20,000 for a bathroom renovation that included installing a shower, toilet, bath cabinet countertop, and flooring in her 50-square-foot bathroom. The materials used were of average quality, including acrylic and pressboard. After visiting and inspecting the installation, it's clear that the workmanship and materials do not justify the excessive cost. On July 16th I contracted with West Shore for two doors at a price of over $6000. My doors were installed on August 28th. My interior door is fine. It is the exterior ***** door. There is an approximately one and a half inch gap at the bottom of the door and the threshold. I can not leave the interior door open to enjoy the ***** door for fear that bugs or rodents will find their way into the house. I have sent two emails and pictures with regards to this issue. The consult done by **** ******** there sales representative was awful and uncomfortable. **** told me I dont have to do business with you 3-4 times. He got out of the chair inside my house and started walking towards me saying I dont have to do business with you. He offered a promotion and told us we either paid him or he was leaving in 15 minutes. I bought the doors but **** ******** was a bully and acted aggressive towards me in my own house. I had a horrible experience with this employee, ***** *****, who may reside in ******,**. This transaction was on August 9, 2024. He was here to give us "a quote" for a fiberglass shower conversion. His quote was approximately $11,500.00 for the shower, and then $13,400 + to remove the tile floor. I wasn't told that I had 3 days to change my mind! The consult was great but the the install has been a nightmare. Received a shower pan with a hole and the installers had to uninstall everything and reinstall the second day. During the uninstall a wall was damaged to the connecting room. A light switch was moved to the other side of the door and the electrician damaged the ceiling during the install. The vanity install was delayed due to lack of experience, tools and equipment. The install of the vanity has taken an additional 4 days after the shower. The repair and drywall... read more

Told the sales the details of the job we wanted to have done. Job was done and everything said and find out it is not draining right. The job was done, but the shower did not drain right after everything was said and done. This was told to the sales *** but never related to the install crew, nor was I told about them not being able to do the part of connecting the pipes to ones that work.
