I had e shower installed in a downstairs bathroom. The contractors finished the shower in one day. I used the tern finished extremely loosely. My washer/dryer room is next door to the shower install. In the middle of the project, the contractors realized the blocked the dryer vent. To solve this problem, the contractors redirected the dryer vent to blow into the house and placed a stocking over the opening to catch the lent. Yes, you read that last sentence correctly. Once the salesman had contacts signed, no amount of phone calls, voicemails or text messages can elicit a response from him. He sold us on "one day installation". It took every bit of 2 days. The shower head rod coming from the wall is loose and not attached properly and cannot be tightened. They put a hole in our dry wall that now has to be replaced. Tub replacement was OK. Looks fine. Installers messed up the faucet which leaked. Took a week for a plumber to return for a job that we were told would take 10 minutes. Took 90 minutes. Installers put up the incorrect shower curtain rod as well. Biggest complaint it that West Shore sold us a shower replacement that they could not do. Original measurements were made incorrectly. It was a nightmare. They had to hire a cleaner to come in and clean my house of the dust and debris left. No cloths put down on my hardwood floors or expensive rugs. Nothing that was promised was done, except the color of the install. I will never use such a company again that does not hire professionals. Now waiting on my glass doors to be finished and they say they do not have parts. Do not hire these people
I would not recommend!!!
The product is fine, but the human side of the business needs work. I have a few issues with the installation. The shower door is not level and barely stays closed, the caulking on the outside of the shower has already released from the bathroom wall in one section, they installed one of the safety bars in the opposite direction than what I asked, and the seam where the walls meet the bottom is uneven. They replaced a tub with a shower enclosure. Looked great. Within a week the curtain bar started sagging. Screws were coming out of wall both sides. Took 4 calls and 5-6 weeks for service man to come take it down. Hired Sunshine Innovative Solutions to put up shower doors. They did an excellent job at a good price.
My Koehler walk-in tub fits in beautifully into my bathroom. The installers did a great job except for a few things: 1. There� s a small ding in my granite countertop which was not addressed. 2. The towel bar fell off the wall after the crew left. Several screws were missing so it couldn� t possibly have been re-installed properly. 3. My adjoining bedroom was totally covered in cement dust. What a mess! All the bedding had to be laundered and the entire room cleaned from top to bottom.
It was a difficult job due to a previous remodeling handyman's excess use of concrete which had to be jackhammered out.
