my sister and brother in law are having a bad experience with herls - project is now 7 weeks past said completion date and they can't even provide them a date when they will be finished. not returning calls, no management? please go somewhere else besides herls!
Posting on behalf of my mother: "I cannot recommend Herl's to friends or family. Currently in the middle of a bathroom renovation. A different worker shows up each day. On the expected last day of the project, I was told the sink and backsplash have not been ordered. May take another week or more for delivery. Very frustrated! Was told this project would be completed before Labor Day weekend. This is the first negative review I have written about any contractor I have ever hired."
For a company who has been doing this type of work for 25+ years, I was surprised at what a disaster my install was. Due to inaccurate measurements by the salesman, the shower pan liner was too small, which resulted in a week delay. Then the sills were too small, which resulted in another delay. Until the correct sills were installed, the shower doors could not be ordered. Once ordered, the design had to change.
