The representative Lucas was very informative and professional. He listened to our thoughts and wishes. He gave us a price which seemed high. We told him the price was way above what we budgeted. He then brought the price down $1,000 only if we were willing to sign a contract that day. I don’t like making snap decisions or being pressured by a price reduction so I declined. Two days later I received a call which started out innocently enough checking on how the sales rep performed. The call then turned into a request to c... read more

ABYSMAL – West Shore Home can’t do anything right. I had ordered 2 sliders and a front door. It took them 7 visits over 8 months to install them correctly once installation was possible. Issues included but not limited to installing/causing broken hurricane glass and frames of hurricane rated sliders (wasn’t sure that was even possible with how solid they are built), leaving the property unsecured for days, turning up without the correct parts after confirming they had them beforehand (including one occasion no parts at a... read more

I had west shore remold our spare bath shower two years ago and it went fine, but we recently hired west shore to remold our master shower. First it started with the sales person (Design coordinator) she did not know about all the products gave us wrong information on shower door she said they are all 3/8 inch thick glass when they are 1/4 inch, so the next day had to change our order to get 3/8 inch, she changed the billing but never changed the order for the install part. So when it finally came time for install of course ... read more

We had a quote for over $10,000 for a tiny little bathroom material must have costed under $2,000 I could see 4000 to 5000 but not 10 to 12,000 if you ask me I think it was because of the neighborhood we live in to me it sounds like nothing but greed that it was a lot of money for one day's worth of work my relatives are plumbers when I told them about this they said we were getting taken for a ride this is pretty sad people have to be this way oh well

Business response:

Hello Rick. We understand our products and services are not for everyone. At West Shore Home, we complete your entire project from design to installation. Our lifetime warranty and level of quality workmanship from our full-time in-house installers are not something you will find with any of our competitors. Thank you for your time.

Communication is horrible and the job is still not done after 6 months. When we call West Shore it always goes to voicemail and we leave messages and nothing. At this point I’m not sure what to do. Management is aware of the issue as well.

Never shows up to the job, didn’t seal the windows right so I had leakage inside my home. Doesn’t call back and still waiting after 2 years to finish the last window!

I've been waiting 10 months for completion on my hurricane shutters. since West Shore Home has acquired Storm Fitters, it has been all downhill. There communication is horrible, almost non existant. they have scheduled final instalation several times and not completed the work. the last scheduled instalation was canceled and no one will tell me why, nor when it will be rescheduled. many of their Storm Fitter employees have left. The once reputable company Storm Fitters is, in my opinion, ruined
