I contacted West Shore to replace our master bedroom shower. During my initial interview with the sales rep, Christopher, he explained that a third party would do the glass work to complete my shower replacement. I immediately became uncomfortable with that arrangement, told him it would not be acceptable, and began to end the meeting. They promised me.they would leave my place as they found it..they lied. I spent 45 minutes on my hands and knees scrubbing their muddy foot prints and dirt in my basement..then the caulk was clunky and sloppy..then I went out side abd saw sawdust all over my porch..my driveway was completely covered as well as my car..I.spent a lot of time cleaning up their mess..including having to wash my car. Do not go with this company for your bathroom remodel, they will rip you off and they prey on women. Tried charging my lady and her mom almost 14,000 for a bathroom remodel but when it came to my attention they were only doing the shower I said they were getting ripped off so they canceled after 7 days. Keep in mind the company was 8 weeks out so cancelling after 7 days shouldn’t have been a problem. They are trying to charge them a 35% restocking fee which is absolutely ridiculous. Well where to start. The only good thing I have to say is that when you call in with problems, and you will, the people are very nice. First, when I scheduled I called from work. Now this number is forever associated with my account. I have asked numerous times for it to be removed. This by itself isn't a big deal to me, it just becomes annoying because of everything else. I will never use West Shore again. They did a complete remodel of a tub and shower. The guys who did the installation did not properly sealed it and it caused water to pour downstairs. They sent a guy to fix the issue. They assured me that they would fix the drywall and paint. The stain of the water damage is still visible and they NEVER contacted me back to redue the ceiling paint. I was a fool again to trust them with a door installation. In April 2023 we hired West Shore home to replace our tub enclosure with a walk in shower. The work was completed in 1 day as advertised and it is beautiful, we love it. Since then we have become increasingly unhappy. We’ve had them come out on 4 seperate occasions to replace the caulk due to mold/mildew on the caulk. Everything started out fine. Original quote was $18,000. which involved removing a jetted walk-in tub and replacing it with a new walk-in shower with a low threshold that would allow me to put my 93 year old mother in the shower in her rolling shower chair. Then the price dropped to $15,000. because they were running a promotion. I am sorry we went with this company for a shower remodel. The representative was all in with a great sales pitch and very nice. My husband signed the contract and paid our deposit and the balance was to be financed. It was sent to a second rate company for financing who wanted a copy of his power of attorney and medical POA. My husband has excellent credit and it really seemed like a scam of some kind so I advised the representative to forget the financing and refund our deposit since the loan was cancelled. I signed a contract with West Shore Home for a shower rehab in 8/2023. They didnt required me to pay a down payment.The saleslady said that I could get a full refund less a restocking fee if supplies had been ordered, which it hadn't as it's only been a few business days. She failed to inform me of a 35% cancelation fee at the time of signing. I signed a one page form, which the cancelation fee was not listed.
